Icons and Expertise
This is one of a multiple part project, for this project we have to pick a topic that we are passionate about and plan out a conference for our topic. I choose the topic of the lack of support with postpartum care. There is a lack of support for moms and parents dealing with the huge change and struggles they face with their body and mind after giving birth.
Process
For this first project we had to come up with groups of people that would attend the conference and come up with a way to identify each group and to show their experience level. I picked colors that were neutral in order to make this appealing to all people no matter their gender or race. That is why I gave the people in the icons a greenish color and I didn’t give any of the icon defining characteristics of that of a man or woman so that these are free of gender and ethnicity.
